The unnamed Quaker was only in residence of the Parrot Haven for a few days. His owner gave him up since she had too many birds. He is a sweet bird. Took him to the PFC monthly meeting and he was adopted immediately by one of our dedicated member/volunteers.
He's in a good home, only a few blocks away, surrounded by a tiel, keets, and a ringneck. I like to give a bird a name, since it gives him/her an identity, but sometimes, it can take a few weeks until just the right name seems to fit each bird. I don't want anyone to think that the Quaker didn't deserve a name.
