Pookie
Pookie came into Parrot Haven after his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. Since he was such a good bird, I was in no hurry to place him and promised his "Mom" I would keep him in Parrot Haven for the duration. Then one day Marsha came over and fell in love with Pookie and vice versa. Marsha spoke to Pookie's Mom who agreed to let Marsha take Pookie, who immediately bonded to Marsha's cockatoo. Pookie is a very quiet and sedate bird who loves his new home and companions.
