I received a call from a woman, whose Mom, at age 80, was finding it difficult to take care of her beloved "Ollie.'' One of Dennis' friends who resides in New Hampshire was very interested in Ollie. "Tut" was willing to drive down, but the cage would not fit in his car. After a few phone calls, Mom decided that "Tut" was the perfect new Dad for Ollie. Dennis packed Ollie up for the long drive and delivered him there safely. Ollie was the perfect passenger on his 6 hour drive and settled into his new home very quickly. Tut and his daughters are thrilled with their new macaw and couldn't be happier. (The trip to New Hampshire was an exception. Others have to be able to pick up their prospective bird at Parrot Haven's Long Island location.)
