The Quaker

Donald, the quaker, came into the Parrot Haven last week and will be staying about 4 months while his "Mom" undergoes surgery and recuperation. Donald found his Mom when he landed on her shoulder last year, while she was walking down the street. He's enjoying his new foster home, being with other birds, since he had been a loner. Donald was fully flighted, but upon entering Parrot Haven has been clipped for safety reasons, with Mom's permission. Donald enjoys hanging out in the kitchen each evening and "pigging out" while dinner is being prepared.

Donald went home after spending 4 months in the Parrot Haven. It was a teary reunion for all. He missed his Mom so much, and I will certainly miss this adorable bird.
