A few months ago, I was contacted by someone who had several macaws to give up. Several of the members agreed to house the other pairs, but I agreed to keep this beautiful pair of scarlets, which are NOT FOR ADOPTION. Argentina & Brazil were renamed by Lauren of PA & have been mates for several years. They are very content in their new surroundings & love their grapes and watermelons. They were also fully flighted, and as lovely as it looks, I didn’t want to take a chance with any of my birds not being clipped.

UPDATE: 1/2014

Argentina & Brazil still reside at Parrot haven. Argentina is very affectionate, letting me constantly scratch her head, while Brazil is the dominant bird and slightly territorial. Since they remain in the macaw room, they are still flighted. Argentina remains naked, but it adds to her character.
