| Fiji
Fiji came into Parrot Haven under very upsetting circumstance. His parents were moving to California, where
Quakers are illegal to own, since they are considered an agricultural pest. If one is found by the border patrol, it
can be confiscated and euthanized. I contacted Sophie who had already adopted a Quaker and asked her if she
wanted a companion for her little guy. So Sophie & husband, Bob picked up Fiji that afternoon. Fiji talks a blue
streak, whistles well, & mumbles under his breath. If circumstances ever change, she would be more than willing
to give Fiji back to his parents who love him so much.
