WPF is a nonprofit foundation, located in Damascus, Maryland, dedicated to educational and charitable activities including: The rescue of abandoned, neglected, and injured birds. The treatment and rehabilitation of injured birds. The placement of abandoned birds with new owners. The training of bird owners in the proper care of their birds. The educating and training, of children and adults, about fire safety and gun safety.
