Lola, Gerry, & Peaches

The following birds came in as a group “rescue” when the owner was unable to care for them any more.

Lola, a nanday conure likes to hang out with Gerry, a male Indian Ringneck. Gerry is a little afraid of hands, loves hanging out on top of his cage and is a very quiet bird. Lola can be a little loud and is not hand tame. It would be nice for both these companions to go to one home.

A lone lovebird, Peaches, is very quiet, friendly and in perfect feather. What a cutie. Someone will be very happy with Peaches.

Update 6/3/02
THIS TRIO WAS FINALLY ADOPTED OUT TO TWO SEPARATE OWNERS. LOLA & GERRY WENT TOGETHER AND ARE GETTING ALONG GREAT WITH THE KIDS IN THEIR NEW FAMILY. IT AMAZES ME THAT PEOPLE WILL OVERLOOK A POTENTIAL BIRD TO ADD TO THEIR FAMILY BECAUSE OF "BAD PRESS." WHILE NANDAYS CAN BE NOISY, THEY ARE CERTAINLY LOVABLE. PEACHES IS ALSO ENJOYING HIS NEW HOME. WHAT A LOVE.
