Dear friends, We have attempted to get the management to improve the life of this sad bird and the full story (and original pictures taken in Dec. 2000) is at http://www.fosterparrots.com/cheersnjeers.html . The stories of stolen birds and even the murder of one bird by a drunken customer have done nothing to deter this "Animal Lover" (the owner, Steve Jones) from repeating his mistakes. Please feel free to call the Choice Hotel Group at 1- 800 517-4000 to lodge a complaint and to email the King's Grant directly at chuckt@kingsgrantinn.com. It is time to do something, it is just one bird but many who see "Captain" walk away thinking this is perfectly acceptable treatment for him. Thank you all for your help in this matter.
