The Parrot Club is dedicated to the ethical treatment of parrots in captivity as well as to their preservation in the wild. Our purpose is to provide information and assistance to all parrot owners regarding proper nutrition, handling, and the daily care of their parrots. We also seek to encourage the advancement of avian medical research, captive breeding programs and information services in our area. Special consideration and effort will be made to assist injured, handicapped and unwanted parrots by providing veterinary and foster care until such time that a permanent arrangement (adoption) is made.

Meet the last Wednesday of each month at the Mutart in Edmonton, Alberta August through May at 6:45pm.

The Parrot Club of Manitoba provides an opportunity for people who are interested in parrots to get together to share information on the care, feeding and habits of their birds. We also sponsor visits to schools and seniors homes to show our birds.
