The Asiatic Breeders Association is an organization of bird enthusiast dedicated to the preservation of the species, and educating people on: a) proper care, handling, breeding & maintenance of Asiatics b) encourage selective breeding c) enhance the development of color mutations through the study of genetics d) advocate the use of close banding and record keeping e) encourage the ethical, considerate and constructive interactions among members and non-member aviculturists

We are the Avicultural Society of Tucson (AST) which is a 501c3 non-profit, educational organization. The main objective of AST is to share information about birds, to educate new bird owners as to the proper care, diet, housing and socialization of their birds, as well as share possible dangers to their birds, in order for them to live a long, happy, healthy life.
